It Starts with a Seed

Would you like to see a community garden in Penn Yan? A shared green space where people can work side by side to grow fresh local food, sharing what they know, and what they grow? Would you like a place in our town for environmental education, where kids can learn about sustainable gardening, composting, and what healthy, just-picked foods taste like? How about all those old garden tools cluttering up your garage, or those extra seedlings hanging out on your windowsill? Would you like to use them to create something special for our town?

Just like a beautiful garden starts with a handful of seeds, a community project like this one starts with a handful of ideas. With your ideas. Please consider joining the Penn Yan Community Garden Group, and help us bring this vision to life.
